Heise News-Ticker: Deutsche zahlen immer öfter mit Karte
Im deutschen Einzelhandel ist 2002 der Anteil von Kartenzahlungen am Gesamtumsatz auf 29,5 Prozent gestiegen. 2001 hatte er noch unter 25 Prozent gelegen. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt das Kölner EHI-EuroHandelsinstitut. Am beliebtesten war demnach das ec-Lastschriftverfahren mit Unterschrift (17,1 Prozent) vor Electronic Cash mit Geheimzahl (6,2 Prozent) und der Kreditkarte (4,8 Prozent). Handelseigene Karten mit Bezahlfunktion waren nur mit 1,4 Prozent am Gesamtumsatz von 355 Milliarden Euro beteiligt.
