CELDA Paper accepted!

The paper Weblog Publishing as support for Exploratory Learning on the
World Wide Web
that I have written together with Magdalena Böttger, has been accepted to CELDA 2004, the IADIS conference on Cognition and Exploratory Learning in the Digital Age, which will be held in Lisbon from 15th to 17th December 2004.

I am pretty excited about this. It is the first time that I publish a paper at an academic conference (if you consider the two BlogTalk-Conferences to be "semi-academic"). This may not seem so special to you, but for me it is.

Now I need to

  1. Re-edit the paper to correct mistakes and work in the reviewers' feedback.
  2. Try to understand the Copyright Transfer Agreement which the conference organisers are asking me to sign and which does not make much sense to me.
  3. Find a way of raising money for me and Magdalena to pay the conference rates and the plane ticket to Lisbon.
  4. Party!
Ok, we start with number 4 and then go from the top. ;-)
